The following is a list of the 118 chemical elements of the periodic table[1], with English names, brief etymologies, and equivalents in other languages. This chart includes the following information and languages:
- etymology
- atomic weight
- its element's block on the periodic table (based on electron shell configurations)

- year of discovery (Ø = knonw since ancient times)
- European languages: German, French, Italian, Russian
- Korean
